For 20 years, Bernie was Director of the Human Services for the City of Peabody leading the Health Department, School Nurses and Veterans Department. He held the Chairmanship of the Local Emergency Planning Committee as well as Emergency Management Director for the City of Peabody. He has his certification for lead paint and pool operation.
